6. Please note that Buildots specifically requires JPEG images containing embedded drone data, such as Latitude, Longitude, Yaw, Pitch, and Roll. FAQs
Which file formats can be uploaded to the image uploader?
The system currently supports JPEG image files onlyI am uploading JPEG images but the system says there is a metadata issue?
Buildots specifically requires JPEG images containing embedded drone metadata, such as Latitude, Longitude, Yaw, Pitch, and Roll. While this information is typically included by most commercial drones, the system will notify you during upload if any issues are detected. Should you encounter problems with files you believe to be valid, please reach out to Buildots support for further assistance. Can I add a drone pilot to the project without granting them access to all pages? Certainly. If you contact support, they can set up a drone pilot in the system with restricted access, allowing them to view only the image upload screen.
What happens if I re-upload the same image more than once?
Nothing bad. The Buildots system recognizes automatically the same image is uploaded and will not analyze it.
